Our included Basic Riser XL is taller and more stable than the Basic Riser MK3, the included 4×5 Light Source Basic MK2 is an ultra bright light source that is between 23 stops brighter than the previous generation 4×5 Light Source Basic, both our Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 and Basic Film Carrier 120 MK2 utilize double s-curve methods of keeping your film flat and have interchangeable inserts for the added capability of scanning other formats and full border scanning, our Basic Mounted Slide Scanning Kit is adjustable for both modern and vintage slides and our Basic 4×5 Sheet Film Scanning Kit mates perfectly to our 4×5 Light Source Basic MK2 to make large format scanning or single negative scanning a breeze!

Basic Riser XL: Combining upgrades from our Basic Riser MK3 (solid steel base, anodized aluminum central column, and design cues from our Pro Riser MK3) with a longer baseboard to allow for cameras with grips to be used and an even taller column to allow for a wider range of macros for 4×5 scanning, the Basic Riser XL is a massive upgrade to any workflow. This is ideal for users looking to scan 35mm and 120 with nearly any camera and macro combination and even 4×5 with up to a 90mm macro lens.

Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2: Using shared parts and processes from our Pro Film Carrier 35, this all-new Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 offers superior film flatness to its predecessor and is capable of scanning all 35mm film formats including half frame, full frame (standard 35mm), and panoramic sizes in a single capture. Also works with Minox, 110, APS, and 126 formats (sold separately). Can scan full rolls of 35mm film in 2 minutes or less and works with cut strips as short as 3 frames.
